Is there a way to keep a dog very wild and strange, quiet and out of trouble?
My dog (a beagle Young) is a little monster. It is actually a very sweet dog (he loves being with people and be petted), but I can not even begin to explain how it is wild. I know its just his nature, but it is very frustrating for my family. He always jumps, chewing and nibbling on us (and furniture, including corners of walls) and energy very high. It is, after having been very strict with him about not jumping and chewing. It also has a problem eating of everything that comes his way. He eats rocks, pine cones, Fuzz, anything. We feed him enough that he can not be hungry. We believe get older, bigger dog (who has been socialized) could help them become more docile and calm, but there is nothing we can do, besides walking him too? Her terror of him walking as well.
He needs lots of exercise and it needs to be trained. Getting a 2nd dog when you have a dog that misbehaves is not a good idea. People tend to think that a good dog will set their dog, but it simply does not work that way. Train your dog first, then consider adding a 2nd .. Or if you have 2 wild dogs …
